New Document Languages

Some HTML features have turned into separate XML languages:

MathML

Allow any XML document to use mathematical notations

XLink

Allow any XML application to benefit from a linking feature

Far beyond HTML links

Used by MathML, SVG, SMIL, etc.

XForms

Allow any document type to use form controls

XML data, device independence, less scripting, more control

Used by SVG (in progress)
